Pain Management

pain management Millions suffer with pain. Many may feel they have nowhere to go for help. AllCare Orthopaedic Center provides personalized pain management.

AllCare physical and occupational therapists recognize the long-term disabling effects persistent pain can have on a person’s life.  We understand that the emotional frustration frequently accompanying pain is as important to treat as the physical symptoms.

Our therapists work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and psychologists who are specially trained in pain management techniques to provide the most comprehensive care available.

Experienced Staff
Our physical therapists and physical therapist assistants help patients achieve adequate muscle flexibility and strength so they can do the things they want and need to do. They also educate patients in proper posture, body mechanics and home exercise programs to ensure correct muscle balance and decreased stress on joints. Care is coordinated through weekly pain management team meetings.

Our staff attends advanced continuing education courses focusing on the latest rehabilitation strategies for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. All programs are medically supervised by board certified physicians.

Did You Know?
Back and neck pain is one of the leading causes of lost work time, second only to the common cold. It affects 65-85% of the population of the United States at some point in their lives.

The most common cause is a sprain, strain, or spasm usually brought on by poor lifting techniques, improper posture, or an unhealthy ergonomic environment. Another common cause is disc problems brought on by injury, wear and tear, or age.
