AllCare Orthopaedic Center offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program for pre and post-surgical procedures. Our rehabilitation programs are based on restoring function. Goals are designed to reflect the individual needs of each patient. Our approach to treatment is to provide an environment that will promote healing and encourage active involvement from each patient. We strive to educate our patients about their procedure and healing process to give them the tools to help themselves heal.

Pre-operative rehabilitation is offered by Allcare Orthopaedic Center as an alternative for patients who are not surgical candidates, would like to avoid surgery or those that have surgery planned for the near future.

Post-operative care is performed at the highest therapeutic level with protection of the patient and preservation of function as the primary goals. Our therapists want to achieve the fastest possible recovery without endangering the surgical repair or the patient's safety. Regular communication with the surgeon is of the utmost importance and always allows the patient excellent outcomes.

Continuity of care is achieved in all cases at AllCare Orthopaedic Center. We only see patients in one-to-one treatment sessions and are committed to quality customer service and promoting our physician and patient relationships. Our treatment is customized for each patient and is geared toward optimal functional performance.

Return to Sport or Activity is the ultimate goal following any surgical intervention. Our sports medicine oriented staff is highly trained in rapid return to sport while protecting the integrity of the surgical repair. Protocols are followed for individual surgeons with the unified goal of achieving the highest level of function.

Did You Know?
Iontophoresis of pilocarpine has been the preferred method of testing infants for cystic fibrosis since 1978.

The major component of this test is collection of sweat, which is accomplished by iontophoretic delivery of safe and optimal quantities of pilocarpine for sweat stimulation (equivalent to five minutes of iontophoresis at 1.5 mA).
