Dr. Leventhal is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He did his spine fellowship training at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, which is nationally recognized as a leader in the field of rehabilitation and research, specializing in chronic diseases, particularly those with brain and spinal cord injuries. Rancho Los Amigos is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 rehabilitation hospitals in the country by US News and World Report.
Dr. Leventhal has the designation of CCD Certified Clinical Densitometrist awarded by The International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
With this specialized education and over 20 years experience as an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Leventhal understands the need to customize treatment for each patient with concern for their personal needs or physical limitations. He takes pride in helping patients with virtually any problem or injury related to the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and/or ligaments of the body.
