Micki Bradley, L.P.T.A.
Micki received her Associate Degree in Applied Science as a physical therapy assistant from Lakeland college. Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings including long term care, acute care and orthopaedics. She continues to expand her clinical skills by attending continuing education seminars.
Due to a previous orthopaedic injury, Micki feels like she can sympathize with patients in order to rehabilitate their injury and get back to their prior level of function.
Cathy Briscoe, RN
Cathy received her diploma in nursing from Decatur Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1980. She has experience in hospital, home health, nursing home and administration. She has been working with Dr. Leventhal since 2008 and is a member of the National Assoication of Orthopaedic Nurses.
Sandra Cleland, Front Office Technician
Sandra has been with Dr. Leventhal since 2001. She has been in customer service for over 37 years. Seventeen of those years have been in serving the medical profession.
As front office technician, Sandra is primary to take referrals, schedule office appointments and IME's. She maintains all patient information, maintenance of office supplies and equipment along with many other office duties. Sandra's specialty is serving the needs of the physician and of the people we serve.
Shelley L. Lovell, CPC
Shelley earned her certification as a CPC (Certified Professional Coder) through the American Academy of Professional Coders. She is also a member of the AAPC. She has earned 61 college semester hours in Applied Science. She has worked in the medical field for over 20 years as a Billing Specialist.
Shelley has worked for Dr. Leventhal since January 2005. She constantly increases her level of professional competence by continually meeting CEU requirements of her certification.
Katie Meier, Front Office Technician
Katie has been in the customer service field for over 20 years. Katie has been with Dr. Leventhal since 2006. She is responsible for all insurance verification/benefits, scheduling all outside referrals, worker's compensation appointments and all follow-up appointments. Katie works directly with all patients to help them understand all their insurance benefits.
Michele Perkins, P.T.
Michele graduated from Washington University in St. Louis cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She has 21 years of experience working with a variety of patient populations and diagnosis. Michele is a licensed Physical Therapist by the State of Illinois. She enjoys working with a variety of patients including orthopaedics, geriatrics, sports medicine and neurological rehabilitation.
Michele continues to expand her knowledge and skills by regularly attending educational seminars. Her goal is to help the patient obtain their maximum improvement in rehabilitation.
Cathy Reel, L.P.T.A.
Cathy received her Associate Degree in Applied Science as a physical therapy assistant from Belleville area College in 1990. She previously worked in many different areas of physical therapy ranging from pediatrics, orthopaedics, sports medicine, and geriatrics. She is licensed with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
Cathy is excited to be back in the orthopaedic setting. She advances her skills with continuing education classes. Cathy enjoys getting people back to their previous level of function prior to their injury.
Sandra M. Stuemke R.T. (R)(M)
Sandra has worked at Dr. Leventhal’s office since December 2001. She has worked in the radiology field since 1994 with experience in general XR, Dexa scanning, C.T. and Mammography. Graduating from Kaskaskia College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science, she is registered by the ARRT. and licensed by the IEMA. Sandra is also a member of the ASRT.
Sandra enjoys fulfilling her duties as an x-ray technologist by being friendly and caring towards patients and maintaining patient safety. She strengthens her knowledge and skills in radiology by attending seminars and hands-on workshops throughout the year.
